I believe hope is most important for the people who are suffering from diseases or dying. They are the ones who need it most as it will save their life. Some people can be very unlucky as they just happen to be a victim of particular diseases. Very little can be done as with most diseases their is no cure so all they need now is to hope for the best. The film involves hope throughout all of Shawshank. The power of hope becomes a part of the prisoners lives and will drive the inmates to carry on. Andy creates hope through making a tunnel in his cell so he can escape. This hope created by Andy, became word and was spread throughout Shawshank, which reinvigorated the prisoners.
